Pure Copper Mixing Bowls

This bowl design is based on the famous French omelet house, Madame Poulard's, that has been serving omelets for over 100 years to travelers on their pilgrimage to Mont Saint-Michel, France. 

These bowls are hand-crafted from pure copper from 100% recycled sources in Santa Clara del Cobre, Michoacán in Mexico. 

Our mixing bowls are not coated or tin lined and will interact with salts and acids. For example, a sliced tomato sitting on copper is going to produce a discolored ring around the food when sitting out for an extended period of time, just as serving up a salad with a vinaigrette dressing is going to leave an unlined copper bowl or plate discolored. Fortunately, even the most difficult stains and discoloration on our copper can be easily polished out of the material with a good copper polish.
